mobilising the masses through movements such as Kheda and Bardoli
Satyagraha, earning nationwide respect for his leadership and
administrative acumen. After Independence, as India’s first Deputy
Prime Minister and Home Minister, Sardar Patel undertook the
monumental task of integrating more than 560 princely states into the
Indian Union through a blend of diplomacy, persuasion, and firm
resolve. His vision, determination, and statesmanship laid the
foundation of a united, stable, and strong India, making his
contributions indispensable to the nation’s history.
